Italy

2012, Here we come!

I hope you have all been well. I just took my camera into the shop to get cleaned up, so I was looking for something to do. I was looking around my desk and found some memory cards, infact...two! I remembered what was stored on these 2 gigabytes. A 2008 trip to Italy, with all the scenes and sights. I hope you enjoy Venice, Florence and Rome, as these will be posted until my camera comes home.

Ciao!

Shooting the City: An Interesting Group

Friday afternoon before a weekend of full of small projects and shopping. Not much time, but I had to put up a post for the week's end. Here is an interesting selection of photos that I took, some of which I wouldn't normally post. In a sense, I am throwing them at the wall to see what sticks. Thanks for checking in everyone. I hope you enjoy, and don't be shy with the feedback!

See you soon.

Shooting the City: Day 2

You may have notice by now that I like taking shots...of the faces of buildings (laughter & applause, please). A lot of buildings are ignored due to people passing them on a everyday basis without thought. Next time you find yourself with an extra minute while walking down the street, stop for a minute and really survey your surroundings. You might find something you never noticed before, like realizing a building can have as much charm as a classic car.

Five more selections from my trip around the city! Thanks for checking in, and be sure to share with family and friends like mommy taught you.

It's easy, just select one of the share icons at the bottom of one of my posts and you will be prompted to share on email, Blogger, Twitter, Facebook or Google+.

Shooting the City

This past weekend, I visited a few parts of city that I don't get to see too often. I started out my venture in Bayview, then through downtown and finally finishing up on the South Side. While living in Milwaukee for nearly three years, I am still amazed by how much of it I haven't seen. I plan on changing that. There are many stories being told in the Cream City. I just hope to catch a few of them with my lens.

Here are a five shots from my photo-shoot this weekend. I hope you enjoy, and be sure to keep an eye out for more photos in posts later this week!

-See you soon-

One post-- Twice the fun! Final Day for the Pabst Project

Happy Friday my friends! It has been a really productive and interesting week. I revamped my blog into one that will not only give me a public setting to display my work, but hopefully serve as inspiration for others. Thanks for being here for my first week! It has been fun, so I thought to myself, "Self, you should process these photos extra hard today, and then you can post a DOUBLE BONUS Friday with twice as many pictures!"

So here it is folks, 10 images for your inspiration, assessment, and most of all, enjoyment. Have a great weekend.
