Late May Photos

Hi there everyone! I have decided to try and get back to it with the posts. I haven't had an online presence in a while, so here are a few more photos. I recently had the opportunity to visit a country club with some neat 'gothic-like' chandeliers and on the way out caught some neat door glass that hadn't been washed in awhile. While leaving, I found a sweet Mustang, of course parked far away from all other cars, and snapped some interesting metal 'tags' on the light pole when I got home. Here they are ;)

New Old Pics

Here are a few more photos that I have taken over the past few months.  The first is a macro close up of a door hinge. The middle tow are from Easter with family, and the last is a view of the April sunset though the rungs of a backyard deck.

I Cried Today

I usually don't make video posts, but today there is an exception. Today at work, while on lunch I stumbled upon a Bon Iver song, and gave it a listen. I wasn't feeling particularly emotional, but while listening to it I started to cry. I am not sure exactly why, but thoughts started racing through my head and I had a rush of emotions that encompassed old age, love, nostalgia and gratitude.

I think it was a realization of life itself, almost a surreal moment, but in actuality the most self-aware moment I have had in years. I only hope that everyone can have this gift today, or sometime in the near future. Until next time.

Pet Photo Contest

"Wiggie" & a New Laptop

Here is a photo I took last Saturday of the biggest dog that I have ever seen. Her name is Wiggie and after some research, I found that she is an Irish Wolfhound. She was a little shy, but her owner was nice enough to let me take a few pictures. Thanks!

In other news, I have a new laptop and am using a new program to edit my photos, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4. I am just scratching the surface, but I really like it so far since its much easier to manage my photo library through this program. Plus, the pictures are turning out great! I cannot wait to travel with it and edit photos on site!
